IA Shares

     IA Shares is a statewide delivery service from the State Library to provide a method of sending and receiving library materials between public libraries and the State Library.  The service provides twice weekly deliveries to every public library in Iowa at no cost to libraries. The full cost of IA Shares is paid for by the State library with a portion of it's federal funding from the Institute of Museum and Library Service. IA Shares is a good outlet for small libraries with a small book budget. Your library can request about any book you would want. The only draw back is that some libraries will not send really new books.
